The tone of today's post is a little different from my usual updates. However, I wanted to share this with you as it's so important.

Disney, Marvel, Sears / K-mart Sunglasses Recalled

News came in recently, from the folks at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, regarding high lead paint levels that were found in a batch of around 215,000 pairs of children's sunglasses.

The recall includes 20 different styles of Disney, Marvel, Sears / K-mart sunglasses. These sunglasses come in a host of different colors and have characters printed onto the frames. 

Do you have these sunglasses?

The sunglasses were sold between December 2013 and March 2014 at CVS, K-mart, Rite-Aid, Walgreens and other retail stores nationwide.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission advises concerned parents to immediately remove the sunglasses from their children. You can read the full Consumer Product Safety Commission announcement here.
