Clackamas Town Center is a 45 minute drive North of the CTS Headquarters, being one of the largest malls of the region and part of our community. The nightmare occurred in the mid-afternoon hours of Tuesday, December 11th when a young man opened fire on unsuspecting Christmas shoppers. Sadly killing two and seriously injuring a third victim, before his rifle jammed. He then fled into a nearby stairwell, where he unjammed his rifle and took his own life. Police & EMTs arrived within moments of the first 911 call, and began assisting shoppers. Clackamas Town Center has remained closed since the shooting, as the community grieves.
