Why sunglasses are an ideal Father's Day gift
Posted by Jim Connolly on 11th Jun 2015
With Father’s Day just over a week away, now is the perfect time to think about the ideal present for dad. I bet you’re thinking I’m going to recommend sunglasses as the perfect present?
If you did, you’d be right!
Here are just a few reasons why sunglasses make a wonderful gift on Father’s Day.
Sunglasses protect
Sunglasses will help protect dad’s eyes from the sun’s damaging UV rays. With so many great looking sunglasses designs, it’s easy to forget that sunglasses also provide a powerful defence against eye damage. Just make sure that the ones you buy come with full UVA and UVB protection. This is available with even modestly priced sunglasses.
Sunglasses are a great match for outside activities
You can get sunglasses that match dad’s interests or hobbies. Whether dad is a; golfer, fisherman, cyclist, walker or sports spectator… you can get sunglasses that perfectly match his needs. Plus, if he participates in outdoor activities, you may help him improve his performance… and make him look even cooler, too.
Sunglasses will fit
Ever bought someone clothing as a gift, only to find that it didn't fit them? If you have, you're not alone. One of the benefits of sunglasses as a gift is that unlike other accessories or fashion items, most adult sunglasses will fit most adults. Although some people (me included) need wide framed sunglasses, the vast majority of people can comfortably wear the average frame size.
Sunglasses will fit your budget
No matter what your Father’s Day budget is, you will be able to find a pair of sunglasses. Prices for sunglasses with UV protected lenses range from around $10, to hundreds of dollars.
Those are just a few reasons why sunglasses make an ideal Father's Day present. I hope you find it useful.
